Ponte Vecchio is a modern gourmet fast service restaurant.  A modern Tavola Calda as it would be called in Italy.  Our intention is to reinvent the Italian experience for individuals and families by preparing high quality, succulent dishes at a reasonable price.  Ponte Vecchio will possibly be the only Italian restaurant in Houston that has an Italian chef from Florence, Tuscany cooking and preparing the dishes from scratch in the kitchen himself.  His name is Mr. Dante Calzini.  Mr. Calzini has been in the catering business since 1956 and was the proud owner of the very first Italian restaurant in the North of England in Great Britain – “Dante’s Italian Restaurant”.  He has attended catering school in Italy and Switzerland. 

You will be pleased to find that our cuisine is not only delicious, but healthy as well.  We use no additives or preservatives and all our dishes are made fresh daily with genuine quality products cooked in olive oil only.  We at Ponte Vecchio are excited to bring you an authentically Italian cuisine, our warm Mediterranean hospitality, and an enjoyable atmosphere, all for a price that is incomparable!
